Beniamino Molinari has joined Schalke 04’s coaching staff to help head coach Frank Kraemer. The 42-year-old is returning to Germany after managing Limassol FC in Cyprus.
The Italian not only knows the pitch and game plan but also gets along fine with the players. Molinari is a hyperpolyglot who can speak five different languages. He is believed to be the perfect assistant coach for Schalke by Rouven Schröder.

“In addition, he speaks a total of five languages. He will complement the existing coaching staff perfectly, so that we can also all around the players will have an even stronger team,”
told S04 sporting director Rouven Schröder.
Alongside coaches Mike Büskens, Matthias Kreutzer, and Simon Henzler and lead football coach Frank Kramer, Molinari will serve the Knappen pros.
Beniamino Molinari’s take
The 42-year-old feels delighted to take up the role of Schalke’s assistant manager. In addition to that, he is well aware of the trophy cabinet that has seen a significant change in recent times.
Molinari is excited to face the challenges Bundesliga has in store for him, and wishes to train the players and win matches whatsoever. The ex-Apollon Limassol’s assistant manager has already created a healthy environment and is looking forward to keeping that momentum till the end of his stay.
Schalke bosses on Molinari
Frank Kraemer was immensely satisfied with the Italian’s arrival at the Veltins Arena. He in fact made few compliments to the press about Molinari.
“Beniamino has recently worked successfully in this role as an assistant coach in an international environment. He will ideally complement Buyo, Matthias, Simon and myself in our daily work, I am convinced of that.”
It would surely be interesting for football fans other than Schalke supporters to see how much of an impact an Italian can have in the German League. In conclusion, will it be possible for Beniamino Molinari to pull a Carlo Ancelotti? One can only wait and watch.
