Chelsea are hoping to End Saul Loan Deal Earlier than expected

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Chelsea is hoping to end Saul Loan deal earlier than Expected. The Blues want to send the Spaniard back to the La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid during the January Transfer Window. Saul Niguez arrived at the Stamford Bridge from the Rojiblancos on the Deadline Day of the 2021 Transfer Window.

The Spaniard arrived at Chelsea on loan for a fee of around £3.5 Million. The option to make the move permanent for £30m was also included. However, the 26-year-old has struggled to get to grips with the Premier League in his early Blues outings. Saul has faced difficulties to make a mark in the Premier League after a Terrifying 45 minutes against Aston Villa during his Premier League debut.

Several reports have claimed that Chelsea is still hoping that the Spaniard can turn his fortunes around once the International break gets over. The Blues Head Coach Thomas Tuchel bringing Saul on the Deadline day must have a reason behind it. But the German manager had no idea if things will take an Unfortunate turn.

Chelsea does have enough firepower to win all the Trophies this season but several injuries have raised concerns over the Team’s Longevity. The Blues under Thomas Tuchel won the UEFA Champions League last season within just 4 months after taking over. His side defeated Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the Finals by 1-0 to win their second Champions League Trophy.

What’s next for Saul at Chelsea as the January Transfer Window is just around the corner

It’s always tough to believe any Rumor when different outlets report different Stories. A separate report from the Spanish outlet Marca has claimed that Thomas Tuchel has no plans to keep Saul at Chelsea. Despite signing Saul on the Deadline day, Tuchel has not included Saul in his long-term plans and is planning to send him back to his parent club in January.

Reports are also suggesting that Atletico Madrid are in no position to accept Saul’s early return to the Club. The La Liga outfit signed Argentine Defensive Midfielder Rodrigo De Paul this summer on a Five-year Contract. Saul’s departure helped Atletico Madrid to fund Antoine Griezmann’s re-signing on Loan as well.

Saul Niguez has featured just five times in all competitions for Chelsea this season. His deal with Atletico still has 5 more years as it expires in the summer of 2026. Things will get clear as the January Transfer Window arrives but Saul will get a chance to prove his worth once the International Break ends.
