Chelsea are interested in bringing another young talent to Stamford Bridge in the form of Raul Moro.

The 18-year-old striker is facing a lack of playing time in his stint at Lazio’s youth team. However, Moro’s future is at crossroads as per La Lazio Siamonoi.

Many European heavyweights are keeping tabs on highly rated youngster but not London side are the front-runners in the race to sign him.

Raul Moro: Career, Statistics and Performances

Raul Moro joined the youth academy of FC Barcelona aged 16. However, he couldn’t reach the senior team past the La Masia academy.

Then, in 2019, he moved to the Italian capital, joining for the youth academy of SS Lazio. However, he featured only once in the senior team.

Moro came as a substitute in 2-1 loss to Juventus last year in Serie A. However, he is one of the key players for the youth team.

For the Primavera (youth league) Lazio team, he has scored nine goals in 17 appearances. He also has scored 2 goals in 2 matches of the Coppa Primavera this season. Moro has also featured for U17 and U18 teams of Spain and has scored 2 goals for the U17 team.

Chelsea could improve their offensive play:

Frank Lampard’s team already have a lot of players to lead the forward line. However, the lack of finishing, accuracy, and agility is a concern for the Blues lately.

Raul Moro might be the perfect youngster to learn and develop alongside Chelsea youngsters like Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz.

Moro’s agent believes that he would get more playing time in a different club like Chelsea.

However, the Spanish wonderkid would make it to the senior team if he moves to the Blues.

Chelsea manager Lampard wouldn’t mind to give him a few chances in the senior team if he is satisfied with the development of Moro.
