Chelsea Fans React to Frank Lampard’ Sacking after FA Cup Win

Chelsea fans had a mixed reaction about the sudden sacking of their head coach, Frank Lampard. Additionaly, he helped the Blues finish at 4th place during the 2019-20 Premier League season.

As per Club owner Roman Abramovich, the 42-year-old former Blues record goalscorer faced axe due to the poor performances by the team. Basically, they have lost five out of the last eight matches. However, the club brought in some talented players like Kai Havertz and Timo Werner among the list.

Lampard was fired exactly a day after the 3-1 FA Cup win to Luton Town. However, there were mixed feelings among the supporters.

A string of unsatisfied Chelsea supporters paved the way for expressing their distress on Twitter. Many of the fans and celebrities were unhappy with the club’s decision.

Certainly, the supporters look to be fuming and unhappy with the decision to fire Lampard. However, some have been active posting and thinking about Thomas Tuchel being his successor.

However, the development of some young talents and their regularity in the starting 11 will be the new look out for the new manager. This was successfully achieved by Lampard.

Keeping apart all the frustration, some of the Blues supporters respected the club’s decision to sack him. Thus, they sent some good wishes for a better future lying ahead for Frank Lampard.

Chelsea fans have already accepted Tuchel as the replacement for Lampard, it seems!

The rise of Youth Academy in the form of Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Billy Gilmour, Fikayo Tomori, and Reece James is the thing the fans loved about Lampard.

Lampard is the 14th coach facing the sack under Roman Abramovich. It is going to be interesting to see whether the new coach aids in the further development of these players.
