According to several reports Chelsea are thinking of replacing Jorginho with AC Milan’s Franck Kessie in the midfield next season. Chelsea had a good campaign last season as they won the Champions League, and thanks to N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in the midfield.

While Jorginho carried his form to the Euro 2020 as he helped Italy win the title. But now returning to Chelsea his future seems to be uncertain as he is linked with a transfer to Serie A.

Following this situation, Chelsea are not taking any risk and already thinking of a backup in the form of Kessie. Playing at AC Milan for the last four years the 24-year-old has grown to be one of the talented midfielders in Serie A. To, date Kessie has appeared 184 times for the Milan side in which he scored 30 goals and 15 assists.

But as the months pass by, his time in Italy is nearing an end as his contract ends in June 2022. And the Ivorian midfielder seems to have no interest to renew his contract with AC Milan in next season. Following this, Kessie will be able to contact any clubs as the calendar hits January.

Keeping tabs on the 24-year-old there are a number of clubs ready to sign the midfielder next season. With names like Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the list. But Chelsea seems to be more determine in signing Franck Kessie next season as they are likely to lose Jorginho.

As per the report, Chelsea are ready to offer a yearly contract of €8 million to Kessie in January. And it will be upon the player who would he liked to choose as his future club. But following his dream of playing in the Premier League, it seems Chelsea might lead the race with the offer. So, let’s wait and see what Franck Kessie decides about his future club in January.
