According to reports, Chelsea is reportedly in the forefront of the competition to secure the signing of midfielder Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians. The Evening Standard suggests that a potential deal might be finalized. That is even before the January transfer window opens. However, that will depend on the timing of the conclusion of the Brazilian season.

Moscardo solidified his status as a highly promising midfielder. Thus, attracting interest from several teams eager to secure his services in the near future.

Chelsea made concerted efforts to acquire him towards the conclusion of the summer transfer window. That had already been notably active under figures like Todd Boehly. However, their late bid during the summer was ultimately rejected. And they now find themselves contending with heightened competition for his signature.

Chelsea are currently contending with competition both domestically and internationally for Moscardo’s services. Barcelona is one of the teams expressing a strong interest in finalizing a deal, aiming to address the vacuum created by Sergio Busquets’ departure.

It appears that Chelsea are now in the lead in the race for Moscardo. As reports indicate their readiness to challenge Arsenal for a deal involving the teenager.

Securing young talents has become a consistent feature of Todd Boehly’s tenure at Stamford Bridge. He has not only recruited established stars for the future but has also acquired players to make an immediate impact. Players such as Andrey Santos and Deivid Washington are considerable promise, particularly when given regular opportunities in the first team at Stamford Bridge.

Yet, the highest level of excitement revolves around Kendry Paez, who may join the Chelsea team in 2025. Having secured a regular spot in the senior Ecuador team at just 16, he is being hailed with potential on par with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe.
