Chelsea to Swap Jorginho for Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen?

Chelsea are reportedly interested in bringing Christian Eriksen replacing Jorginho as per Calciomercato.

The former Tottenham Hotspur ace has been experiencing a lack of playing time at his current club, Inter Milan. However, Jorginho has been in red-hot form for the Blues scoring in two games in a row in the form of Penalties.

But Jorginho is currently seeking a move back to Italy either to San Siro or to Napoli. This might lead to being a void form in the midfield and Eriksen would be a perfect signing for Thomas Tuchel.

Christian Eriksen back to London and Jorginho’ imminent return to Italy?

Christian Eriksen managed to score only 5 times in his 44 matches played. The 28-year-old Danish midfielder has a brilliant time in Tottenham Hotspur. He scored 69 goals and bagging 89 assists in 306 appearances before joining the Nerazzurri.

“Christian Eriksen is a really good footballer. Skillful and smart. I’m very impressed. He meets the standards at Ajax I have in my mind without doubt.” – Late legendary footballer Johan Cruyff said about him in 2012.

He has attracted the Premier League rivals Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Additionally, Eriksen would even look for a possible reunion with his former club.

Jorginho has been a key player for the London club but Italian clubs Napoli and Inter Milan. He has scored 15 goals in 120 appearances for Chelsea. However, as per Jorge Santos, Jorginho’s agent, the 29-year-old Italian midfielder would like to have a possible reunion with his former coach Maurizio Sarri if the coach joins Naples.

“Football is dynamic and nothing can be ruled out. If [Maurizio] Sarri returns to Napoli, he would make an attempt to take Jorginho back, he is perfect for his football. I can’t rule it [a return to Napoli for Jorginho] out,”  as per Jorge Santos.

The Blues under the coach Tuchel are trying to build a stronger side to challenge for the League and other competitions by swapping Christian Eriksen for Jorginho.
