Cooperage Preparing for Ambernath United Atlanta United FC ILeague 2 Season Starter

Ambernath United Atlanta FC is scheduled to make their debut in the Hero I-League 2, the third division of the Indian Football League system. Since its start barely a year ago, AUAFC has won the MFA Elite Premier League in consecutive seasons and the prestigious Harwood Champions League, accomplishing a double in 2022.

Ambernath United Atlanta FC have been chosen to represent Maharashtra in the Hero I-League 2. Kick off their season tomorrow at Mumbai’s iconic Cooperage stadium. However, they will host the Hyderabad(R) team tomorrow, with a 4.30pm kickoff.

Let’s take a look at the AUAFC team for the 2022-23 Hero I-League 2 season:

Himanshu Patil (C), Allan Dias, Arif Shaikh, Manoj Gupta, Ashley Koli, Johnson Matthews, Abhijit Tawhare, Shravan Shetty, Aaron D’Costa, Umesh Peramba ,Mandeep Singh Multani, Rahul Murali, Kaustubh Ravindra, Nishant Shetty, Nitesh Monde, Tejas Raut, Bipin Rawat, Bersal Viegas, Vishnu Menon, Yasheel Shah.

Ambernath United Atlanta FC will meet the Hyderabad Reserves squad from the ISL in their first encounter. With 19 clubs competing for promotion to the I-League. However, ARA FC, Dempo, Ambernath United Atlanta FC, FC Goa (R), and Hyderabad FC make up Group D. (R). Group D is a challenging group with two ISL reserve squads and a few more domestic powerhouses.

ARA FC defeated Hyderabad FC(R) in their first match with 2-1 score. Dempo also won their first match 1-0. However, ARA FC leads Group D with three points, followed by Dempo in second position.

Ambernath United Atlanta FC has been unbeaten for the previous two seasons. And will want to start their first season in I-League 2 with a clean sheet.
