Recently promoted I-League side Delhi FC have roped in Lalengmawia and Girik Khosla. Delhi FC were the champions of I-League Division 2 and earned themselves a spot in the I-League 2023-24 by promotion.

Lalengmawia: Player profile
Lalengmawia is a Mizoram born professional football player. He plays at the position of a defender. The player was last contracted with Kawnpui Venglai GSA a club based in Mizoram. He has previously played for Sudeva FC and Aizwal FC and also has an assist to his name during the 2020-21 season.
Lalengmawia has signed with Delhi FC for a two-year contract.
Girik Khosla: Player Profile
Girik Khosla is an Indian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder. Born in Mumbai, Girik started his football journey with the youth setup of Mumbai FC where he was the captain of U-14 and U-17 teams. Then he moved to the state team of Chandigarh. Minerva Punjab was impressed by him after guiding the state team Chandigarh to qualify for the final stages of the Santosh trophy. He made his senior debut for the team in the 16/17 I-League season. Girik was also part of the team when they won the I-League 2017-18 where he made 12 appearances and scored one goal.
He joined Northeast united for the 18/19 ISL season where he made just one appearance for the Highlanders. Later on, he again returned to Minerva and then to Sreenidhi Deccan and Real Kashmir the following seasons.
With the addition of Lalengmawia and Girik Khosla, Delhi FC aim to bolster their performance before the season. As promotion has started to Indian Super League (ISL), Delhi FC will definitely lock their horns on achieving it. Currently, the team is placed in Group F alongside Chennaiyin FC, Hyderabad FC and Tribhuwan Army in the Durand Cup.
