But the transfer has failed badly as he has been labeled a flop transfer. In his first season, he only appeared 22 times while scoring only one goal in all competitions. While the Belgian winger also faced trouble by a serious ankle injury in his first season.

The same story continued this season as he was out of the team for most of the games facing frequent injury. He has only appeared 21 times while scoring just 4 goals in all competitions this season.

Following his poor form, it was believed that Madrid is ready to load off the Belgian superstar this summer. However, Hazard has broken his silence and said that he would be staying in the club till his contract ends.
