FC Barcelona Target Raheem Sterling is available for €45m. The English Champions Manchester City has put a price tag of €45m on their English Striker Raheem Sterling. Barca has been keeping tabs on the player since the summer transfer window. Sterling has been linked with a move away from Etihad Stadium for quite some time now.
The Spanish giants are about to go through a period of Transformation after the arrival of new Head Coach Xavi Hernandez. FC Barcelona sacked Ronald Koeman a few weeks ago after the Dutch failed to put up good Results. Raheem Sterling reportedly wants to leave Manchester City due to less game time this season. The Catalonian club is well aware of Sterling’s intentions to leave to the English Champions.
According to reports, Barca’s new Manager Xavi is an admirer of the Former Liverpool Man. FC Barcelona can take full advantage of Sterling’s situation and lure the Englishman to Camp Nou. However, the club has only granted a sum of €10M for the upcoming January Transfer window which is way below the asking price for Raheem Sterling.
As reported by the Metro, the Premier League giants are open to selling Sterling once a bid in the region of €45 million arrives. Manchester City signed the 26-year-old in 2015 from Liverpool for €40 million. However, the player has found himself on the Bench for a majority amount of time this season. Raheem Sterling was an integral part of City last season when they reached their first-ever UEFA Champions League Final.

Former FC Barcelona Player and Manager Pep Guardiola have confirmed Barca’s interest in signing Sterling. The Spaniard seems convinced that his former Employers will sign Sterling.
“If Barcelona are interested in any of our players, I am convinced that they can get them. Barca continues to be an attractive club, more than attractive. The city, the club, the history and this for the trainers, for the players always seduces a lot.”

Sterling has also added fuel to the fire of speculation by saying he would love to test himself in a foreign league, having only ever played in the Premier League. FC Barcelona is a club where he can prove himself as one of the best.
