France Theo Hernandez is addressed as ‘MY SON’ by Marcelo

After France reached the World Cup Final. Former Real Madrid star Marcelo was among many to congratulate Milan star Theo Hernandez: “My kid, you are very good“. In a 2-0 victory over Morocco on Wednesday, the France international scored the opening goal. Advancing his nation’s squad to the World Cup Final for the second consecutive year.

Theo will play in his first World Cup Final on Sunday since he was not a member of the France team that traveled to Russia four years ago.

After last night’s victory over Morocco, a number of his Milan teammates. Including Davide Calabria, Rafael Leao, and Ismael Bennacer, congratulated him on social media. Marcelo, a former Real Madrid defender who played with Theo at the Bernabeu before moving for €20 million to Milan in 2019, also offered his congratulations.

What did the France player say?

On Theo’s most recent Instagram photo, Marcelo left a remark that said, “You are very good, my kid.”

The France defender told Gazzetta after yesterday night’s game that Argentina are “a wonderful team,” despite the fact that Leo Messi is not feared by Les Blues.

After joining AC Milan this summer, Theo Hernandez is looking to emulate his idol Paolo Maldini. Growing up, both the Italian and Marcelo, a former Real Madrid teammate, served as role models for Theo. Despite the fact that Milan falls well short of the club they are known for being. Theo is happy to play for the Rossoneri and boasts seven European Cups to his record.

He said:

“When I was at Madrid I said that I wanted to play for a historical club like Milan.”

Luka Modric was a target for Inter last summer and this year he’s been linked with the red side of the city.

“I played with him, but I haven’t heard anything about that,”

 Theo said before joking,

“anyway, even if I had heard something I couldn’t say anything.”
