Group B Preview, Squad, and Fixtures for the Hero Super Cup 2023

The group rounds of the Hero Super Cup 2023 began this weekend. However, with four teams advancing from the qualification round to join the other 12 teams in the main event. Moreover, a total of 16 teams are separated into four groups. However, with only the club finishing first in the standings after three games progressing to the tournaments’ quarterfinals.

Group B has three ISL teams. Hyderabad FC, Odisha FC, and East Bengal. Moreover with Aizawl FC serving as the only I-League representative in Super Cup. However, on the surface, the Nizams appeared to be the favourites to top the group. Further, earning them a spot in the semi-finals of the 2023 Super Cup. But Odisha FC and East Bengal might push themselves up. Despite neither having showed poise in their performance in the previous ISL season. Meanwhile, Aizawl FC will play more freely, with no real expectations around them. Moreover, the Mizoram-based club may easily function as a huge killer to the other ISL sides in the group. However, it is something they are totally capable of doing.

Hyderabad FC

Goalkeepers for Hyderabad FC: Gurmeet Singh, Anuj Kumar, and Lalbiakhlua Jongte

Akash Mishra, Nikhil Poojary, Manoj Mohammad, Reagan Singh, Chinglensana Konsham, Odei Onaindia, Nim Dorjee Tamang, and Mohammed Rafi are the defenders.

Sahil Tavora, Hitesh Sharma, Joao Victor, Borja Herrera, Mohammad Yasir, Halicharan Narzary, Lalchungnunga Chhangte, Mark Zothanpuia, Abdul Rabeeh are moreover the midfielders.
