Indian Super League club Hyderabad FC have officially announced the signing of Nigerian World Cupper Bartholomew Ogbeche from Mumbai City FC on Thursday. The player has signed a one-year deal with the Nizams. Bartholomew Ogbeche is the third new addition to the Hyderabad FC squad this season.
He is a veteran striker who has already played in the top leagues in France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Furthermore, he has also represented Nigeria in the FIFA World Cup. He is most likely to be the first-choice striker of the Nizams head coach Manolo Marque in the upcoming ISL season.

Bartholomew had a notable first season in the ISL, where he played for the NorthEast United FC. He netted 12 goals for the NEUFC in his 18 appearances. In the year 2019, he made a move to the Kerala Blasters FC where he once again proved his capabilities of being the finest striker in the League. He added 15 crucial goals to the Yellow Army’s tally that season.
Later Mumbai City FC added him to their squad for the 2020-21 ISL edition. The 36 years old striker won the League Shield and the ISL Trophy with the Mumbai City FC last year. He was also the second-highest goalscorer for the club with 8 goals.
The former NorthEast United striker is the third-highest goalscorer in the Hero Indian Super League history with 35 goals in his 56 appearances in the ISL.
