Hyderabad FC Sign Midfielder Roland Alberg on Loan

The January transfer window will open on Friday and The Indian Super League Club Hyderabad FC is all set to reinforce their team with the signing of Roland Alberg on loan from Dutch team Roda JC Kerkrade. The 30-years-old attacking midfielder agreed to a deal with Hyderabad Fc till the end of the ongoing Indian Super League 2020-21 season.

He will be the 7th overseas player of Hyderabad FC after the completion of the loan transfer. when the January transfer window opens on Friday.

Alberg is an experienced player, he has played professionally in the top leagues in Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, USA. He also played in Eredivisie, Top Level League of the Netherlands.

Alberg’ First Appearance for Hyderabad in ISL:

Albert will be the 11th Dutch player to play in the ISL. He will be the only player from the Netherlands to sign for Hyderabad FC.

He joined Roda JC in 2019, he was a regular player for the Roda JC in the 2020-21 season. Contributed a total of 8 goals and an assist in 15 appearances from his team in the Eredivisie league.

The Nizams are currently struggling their way in this season of India Super League. Manuel Márquez Roca’s head coach of Hyderabad Fc will probably add Albert to the playing XI so he can improve their gameplay with his attacking nature in the game.

“Our pre-season in the Netherlands started in July and the season in August. I only missed a couple of games in the season and played my last game on the 20th of December. So, I am fit and ready to go.”
