Jose Hevia, head coach of Mohammedan made three changes in the lineups. Subham Roy replaced Goalkeeper Rafique Ali, and midfielder Shilton and Nikhil were replaced by Fatau Mohammed and Sanjib Ghosh.

Whereas Churchill Brothers head coach Fernando Santiago Varela came up with one change in the Lineups. Vikas replaced Defender Kamran Farooq.

The Red Machine dominated the game in the starting minutes. In the 6th minute of the game Midfielder, Sanjib Ghosh had a golden opportunity to put Mohammedan ahead but missed to hit on target.

Thereafter both teams played carefully and opportunities became rare for both clubs.

Mohammedan tried to infiltrate the Churchill defense in the 26th minute. However, did not manage to take the lead in the game.

Clayvin Bernardez the only player of the ongoing season to score a hattrick in his first match against the Indian Arrows was struggling to cross the Black Panthers Defense.

A defensive error from the Black Panthers would have handed a lead to the Red Machine during the 48th minute, Miranda was free to deliver a cross to Majcen. Subham Roy goalkeeper of the Black Panthers successfully intercepted the cross.

Notable Performances:

Bryce Miranda: He created chances for Churchill Brothers and was, therefore, was awarded the Hero of the Match Award.

Mohammedan SC to face Tiddim Road Athletic Union(TRAU) on 19th January at Kalyani Municipal Stadium.
