The Warriors came up with four changes in their lineups. Defender Ashray Bhardwaj and Abhishek Verma were repaired by Bikash Yumnam and Anwar. Certainly, Midfielder T. Suranjit Singh and Rupert Nongrum replaced Jiten Murmu and Pritam Singh. They played with a 4-5-1 formation.
On the other Red Machines had one change in their lineups. Midfielder Kingslee Fernandes was replaced by Richard Costa. Fernando Santiago Varela went with the same 4-3-3 formation.

RoundGlass had an early opportunity to take the lead in the 4th minute. Forward Chencho Gyeltshen almost scored but Suresh Meetei cleared the shot off the goal.
Minutes later Luka Majcen received a cross from the right-wing. He had only Kiran Limbu to beat to register the first goal of the day, though his shot went over the bar.
Bazie Armand released a shot from the box during the 39th minute but a sliding tackle from Saurabh Bhanwala cleared the ball. Both teams received ample chances to score. But neither of the chances were successfully transformed into a goal.
The Red Machines kept playing offensively in the second half. RoundGlass midfielders were unable to keep possession with them thus they were not able to create enough chances.
Finally, Churchill Brothers took a 1-0 lead in the last ten minute (85th minute). Clayvin Bernardez Zuniga received a cross from Hamza Kheir, he took a powerful shot and sent the ball to the net. He added one more goal to his tally.
