Is Mason Mount Unhappy at Chelsea and wants a move to Liverpool? The Blues Midfielder is reportedly quite unsure about his future at the club and would move to Liverpool. Mason Mount won the UEFA Champions League earlier this May and his club is currently at the top of the Premier League. However, the England international has failed to start consistently for the Blue this season.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old is disappointed with his abrupt entry into the starting XI. As a result, Mason Mount is considering a move away from Stamford Bridge. There are reports are suggesting that Mount is feeling “Under-appreciated” at the club. Real Madrid is closely monitoring his developments at Chelsea and they might offer him a Lucrative contract to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.

FSG are unlikely to spend big money any time soon, and Chelsea will likely demand a hefty fee to sell Mason Mount to one of their closest rivals in the Premier League. Especially, considering he is a key part of their squad and an academy graduate.

Over the summer even Manchester City with all their financial might struggle to sign from a direct Premier League rival. Liverpool will run into similar problems over any transfer for Mount, so there is no point in entertaining the idea.

WILL MASON MOUNT TAKE THE NEXT STEP FORWARD IN HIS CAREER BY LEAVING CHELSEA?

“Mason is a top lad and thought of well within Chelsea, and is popular with the team. But he isn’t feeling appreciated anymore.

He’s been at Chelsea since he was a tiny lad, but despite coming up through the Academy, he doesn’t feel like he gets the same treatment or recognition as players bought in for big money.

He is torn because he loves the club and the fans, but thinks it’s time for him to leave to step up his career. And where better to do that than Liverpool”?

a source told the Daily Star Sunday

The sentiment would make sense on paper. Mason Mount is a talented player, with ample potential. After all, he produced a dominant display in the Champions League final not too long ago. He is someone who would be capable of playing as the creative outlet in Liverpool’s 4-3-3 midfield system and adept at pressing to adapt Jurgen Klopp’s playing style.

Not to mention he plays in a position where Liverpool require more options in the squad. However, a transfer for Mason Mount will remain a fairy tale for Liverpool, even if the report is true and Mount would be interested in a move to Anfield.
