Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters FC wants to sign Australian defender Aleksandar Susjnar. Both the club and Aleksanadar’s agent are in close talks if we go according to the rumours.

It is not hidden anymore that the Blasters want to rebuild their team in order to compete for the league title. They have sold most of their foreign players and have hired a new manager also.

Aleksandar who is a 25-year-old defender would be perfect for the job to lead the defence. He currently plays for Macarthur FC and has made 25 appearances for them.

Susjnar is from Perth, made his senior debut in Europe playing with the Lithuanian side Ekranas in A Lyga season 2013 and 2014. Then he returned to Australia and played for Perth SC in the 2015 National Premier Leagues. Next, he joined Leitava Jonava playing with them in the 2016 A Lyga.

After that he joined Romanian Liga 1 club Gaz Metan Mediaz signed him and Susjnar played with them until winter break when he joined the Czech Republic and joined FK Teplica. A year later another Mlada Boleslav. In 2018 he joined MSK Zilina on a 6-month loan deal. After all of this, he then travelled to South Korea and joined Busan IPark. Later on, he joined A-league’s expansion club Macarthur FC.

Susjnar would be a major upgrade for the team. If Kerala Blasters really manage to sign Susjnar, then without a doubt, the Blasters would be able to give other teams, a run for their money.
