Chennaiyin FC signed Narayan Das on a permanent deal

Chennaiyin FC has signed the left-back Narayan Das on a permanent deal. Narayan signed a two-year contract with the club. He played a long season with SC East Bengal. The 27-year-old defender is the second-highest capped player with 107 appearances. He also has 7 assists under his name.

The rise of Narayan Das

The defender has a total of 200 senior career appearances for both club and country. He started his career at Dempo SC in I-League. He was then scouted by FC Goa where the club defeated CFC in his debut match. Later he played for FC Pune City and was in a tough spot with his stay at East Bengal. He was also a part of Delhi Dynamos before they shifted to Odisha FC.

He was also part of the senior national team and played his debut match against Nepal. The defender was in the winning squad of the 2015 SAFF and 2018 intercontinental cup.
