Odisha FC have officially announced the signing of Victor Mongil to be a part of the forthcoming Indian Super League Campaign.
Victor is a former ATK defender and the first foreign signing of the Odisha FC. He played nine fixtures for the Kolkata-based team.
The 29-year-old defender is an experienced defender having represented the U-17 team of Spain. He also played for various Spanish clubs like Valladolid, Atlético Madrid B, Alcoyano, Mérida, Pontevedra and Levante B. In the 2019- 20 transfer window ISL club ATK roped him for one season, and that campaign ATK went on to lift the Indian Super League title.
Before his move to the ISL club, he played for the Gregorian club Dinamo Tbilisi FC that plays in the Erovnuli Liga the top-flight football in Gregoria. After completing his title-winning spell at the ATK he went back to Dinamo Tbilisi FC.

Victor braced Dinamo Tbilisi in winning the title in Georgia, he also represented them in the UEFA Europa League.
How prepared are Odisha FC after their dissapointing season last season ?
With David Villa as Head of Global Football Operations, the Juggernauts have appointed Spanish manager Kiko Rameriz as their new head coach, while Kino Sanchez will be the Assistant Manager of the club for the coming season.
The Odisha-based club is in talks with various Spanish players to add them to the squad. They have also made an offer to last year’s Golden Boot Winner Igor Angulo and initially, both agreed to terms. Despite this, Angulo refused to join Odisha. Looking at this opportunity Mumbai City FC communicated with the player and have reportedly signed him for the upcoming campaign.
Former ATK Mohun Bagan player Javi Herandez is also close to being signed by the Juggernauts. Moreover, La Liga player Jonathan Pereira is also a potential player who signs for the club in the coming days.
