About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

There’s a good possibility that Jonathan Ikone will replace Hakan çalhanoğlu at AC Milan. Jonathan Ikone has a stellar season with Lille having beaten PSG to be crowned as Ligue 1 Champions.

He has been playing in LOSC Lille since July 2, 2018, when he got transferred from PSG for €5 million quid. He has scored 4 goals in Ligue 1 this season and made 5 assists. On the other hand, Hakan çalhanoğlu plays for AC Milan. He has been playing with AC Milan since July 3, 2017. It was Bayer Leverkusen who had transferred him for €23 million Jonathan Ikone has lost his starting place this season becoming more of a luxury joker.

Jonathan Ikone could leave Lille this summer. The young Lille striker is very much appreciated by the AC Milan management. The young French striker is on the shortlist of several European clubs, including AC Milan, who want to recruit him. The management of the Milanese club would have started discussions with the entourage of the young 23-year-old striker for a transfer this summer.

AC Milan is claiming a sum of €25 million to let go of Jonathan Ikoné who arrived in July 2018. Jonathan Ikone is also coveted by other clubs including Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. His season has been marked by irregular performances. However, Ikone has 9 goal involvements this season in the league. He also experienced his first Ligue 1 title with the victory of Lille a few weeks ago.

His contract with Lille still runs until 2023. AC Milan has already gone on the offensive for the transfer of Jonathan Ikone this summer. LOSC will be difficult in business. It is already official that Lille will have to offer at least 25 million euros to get the young player. Ikone would leave the ship Lille as his teammates Maignan and soon Boubakary Soumaré.

Hakan Calhanoglu going to leave AC Milan this summer

With a contract that runs until June 30, midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu could leave AC Milan this summer. He is already attracting interest from major European clubs. He has scored 5 goals and provided 11 assists in 39 appearances. The 27-year-old is a key player for Stefano Pioli.

When asked on Sky Sport about his future, Hakan Calhanoglu was evasive about it. Milan will suffer losses in the upcoming mercato and one of them could be Çalhanoğlu if everything remains as it is. The club and the player are still at odds over the terms of the renewal.

“I have always said that I want to play in the Champions League with AC Milan. However, my future does not depend on the Champions League. I am very happy to be here. When the season is over, I will sit down with Maldini and Massara to discuss my future.”

The Italian club does not want to increase the wage bill and are resistant to improve the offer presented to him, so it could even already accept a departure. Milan will not give up despite the offer of three seasons and €32 million that Al Duhail would have made. Milan has informed him that he will receive four million per season and that this offer will not change. Discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Hakan Calhanoglu continue. He’s in the sights of Paris Giants for several weeks now. The two parties plan to meet next week.
