Two years ago, Juventus sold Moise Kean to Everton for £25 million. Subsequently, a year later it was Everton who loaned their player to PSG for the 2020/2021 season. Juventus is now ready to offer the goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in exchange for Everton’s Moise Kean this summer.
Wojciech Szczesny has been playing as a goalkeeper with Juventus since 2017. Since then, he has made 135 matches and his contract ends in June 2024.
Juventus believe that Szczesny is most likely to attract suitors from the Premier League. Chelsea and Everton as these clubs are keeping their eye on the keeper. Juventus CEO Andrea Agnelli is hoping to persuade Everton to make a deal. He is ready to give up his goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny for the arrival of Moise Kean in his team.
Moise Kean is now playing for a season with Paris Saint-Germain. After a very average 2019/2020 season at Juventus it is to the quite different player who has revealed himself once at PSG. This season he scored 18 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.
If Juventus is ready to sell its goalkeeper is also for financial reasons. Juventus is very interested in the arrival of Gianluigi Donnarrumma. However, he is asking for a salary of 10 million euros to join Juventus. The Italian club must find a solution quickly.
Paris Saint-Germain wants former Juventus player Moise Kean too
However, Juventus could face competition for Kean, as PSG hopes to make Moise Kean’s loan permanent. Leonardo Nascimento is currently working to try to keep the Italian striker. The English club is asking around 50 million euros for the player. Juve would like to lower this sum by including their Polish goalkeeper in the deal.
The Parisian club would like to keep him permanently but a condition should be taken into account the future of Moise Kean.
Moses Kean remains very attached to Massimiliano Allegri. It was the coach who started him as a professional at Juventus. If Allegri were to return to coach Juventus, there is a strong chance that Moise Kean would rule out all other suitors.
Note that Szczęsny is not the only argument of Juve, who would also like to rely on Everton’s interest in Adrien Rabiot. However, Juve will allow Szczesny to leave this summer if they can find a deal to sign AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
