Klopp’s Liverpool Rampage Past Everton and Toulouse

Liverpool

Klopp’s Liverpool looks like a completely different team after returning from the international break.

Former England midfielder Joe Cole said:

“Klopp’s Liverpool are in the wrong competition. If they were in the Champions League, we’d be saying they could go all the way,”.

Is this most organised Liverpool?

This team appears to be the most organized team we have seen in the last 2 or 3 seasons. Everyone is contributing whether it is a forward, midfielder or defender.

Midfielders like Wataru Endo & Ryan Gravenberch gave a fabulous performance as the Reds thrashed Toulouse 5-1.The Reds had 5 different goalscorers in this match.

Record Breaking ‘Egyptian king’ Salah

Salah Scored 2 goals against Everton in the home ground Anfield. He also scored a goal against Toulouse.

With the goal against Toulouse,he broke the 17 years old record of Frenchman Thierry Henry.

Salah now holds the record for most goals scored for a single English club in major European competitions.

The record was previously held by Thierry Henry with 42 goals.

Klopp’s Interview

After 5-1 victory over Toulouse, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told TNT Sports:

“We made good goals, nobody got hurt, perfect night.”

On asking about Gravenberch he further said:

“I’m so happy for him that he starts really enjoying his football again. His first touch is incredible, his acceleration with the ball. He’s not even halfway there. The good thing is that he has a lot of things to improve.”

Klopp on Wataru Endo:

“The forward passes he played tonight were absolutely incredible and how often he broke lines with one touch was absolutely insane – and then he scores a wonderful goal”

Liverpool concerns

The only concerns for the Reds are injuries.

Andy Robertson, Thiago Alcantara, Gakpo, and Bajcetic are injured.
