Koeman angry over Gravenberch, will Bayern regrets his transfer?

Dutch International, Ryan Gravenberch gave an outstanding performance against the toulhouse in the 5-1 win at Anfield. He was given player of the match awards for it. Liverpool’s best player on the night was unquestionably Gravenberch (8.6), who earned the highest all-round rating at Anfield. He was given standing ovation when he was replaced in second half.

Ryan’s Impact in Liverpool midfield

Liverpool signed a few midfielders this summer. Gravenberch is one of them. Gravenberch joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich for a fee of £35 million. On 1 September 2023, the final day of the Premier League transfer window, Gravenberch signed for Liverpool on a five-year contract.

The other midfielders signed by Liverpool this summer are Argentine World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister, Dominick Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo.

Gravenberch scored his first goal for Liverpool in a 2–0 win against Union Saint Gilloise in the UEFA Europa League.

After a 5-1 victory against the Toulouse, Klopp spoke to TNT Sports. He said:

“He’s a good player, I’m so happy for him that he starts enjoying his football again. His first touch is incredible, his acceleration with the ball. He’s not even halfway there. The good thing is that he has a lot of things to improve.”

Koeman angry over Gravenberch

Gravenberch rejected the call to represent his country in the Under 21 team for the Euro qualifier. Koeman said:

“Nigel has spoken to him. We are not happy with cancellations at the Dutch juniors, we believe that he should always be available.“But within the KNVB we have said that he is not available for this period. That is your duty as a player, to play for any team.”

Liverpool upcoming matches

The Reds will play Nottingham Forest on 29 October at Anfield. After this, they will play against AFC Bournemouth in round 4 of the EFL Carabao Cup.
