Konrad Laimer and Lucas Hernandez of Bayern Munich turn their attention

Italian goalkeeper

Bayern Munich has been busy in the background, pursuing players and completing deals with some of them. The Rekordmeister have lately begun to look at center backs. Have been connected to both Roberto Firmino of Liverpool and Axel Disasi of AS Monaco. Instead, they are concentrating on concluding a deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer. And putting together a contract extension for injured Lucas Hernandez.

According to BILD journalists Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk, Bayern are no longer in the race for those two players, and have not been discussed within the Bayern office. According to a tweet from @iMiaSanMia.

However, given Bayern’s abundance of CAM and wingers, a deal for either Roberto Firmino or Axel Disasi appears improbable (Firmino). Disasi? Well, Bayern does have players they can develop. And Benjamin Pavard is now in limbo and not in advanced transfer negotiations with other teams. The best thing they could possibly do at the moment is to finalize a Laimer deal and extend Hernandez’s contract.

What did Konrad Laimer say?

In the background, Bayern Munich has been active, seeking players and closing deals with some of them. The Rekordmeister has recently started to consider center backs. And both Roberto Firmino of Liverpool and Axel Disasi of AS Monaco have been mentioned.

A tweet from @iMiaSanMia claims that Bayern are no longer in the running for those two players and that the topic has not been addressed within the Bayern office. According to BILD writers Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk. Concluding a deal for Konrad Laimer, a midfielder for RB Leipzig, and putting together a contract extension for Lucas Hernandez, who is sidelined, are their main priorities right now.

A trade for either Roberto Firmino or Axel Disasi, though, seems unlikely considering Bayern’s plethora of CAM and wingers (Firmino). Disasi? And Benjamin Pavard is still in limbo and not in advanced transfer discussions with other teams. So Bayern does have guys they can develop. They should complete the Laimer agreement and extend Hernandez’s contract as soon as possible.
