After a summer full of drama for Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain, the player eventually decided to extend his contract with the club. However, recent reports have surfaced claiming that the Frenchman is not happy at the club. It is also reported that the forward is looking to move away from the club in January itself.
However, despite the rumors about his future, the Frenchman has continued to perform for the club. The young superstar along with Lionel Messi helped the club to qualify for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League. Both the players scored two goals and assisted a further two as Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Maccabi Haifa 7-2.
In a recent interview, the Frenchman clarified that he does not wish to move away in January. The statement has come in response to claims that he will push for a move in the winter transfer window. However, the player refuted the claims and answered with his performance on the pitch.
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar had a spat earlier this season
There were multiple reports that the two players had a falling out which is the reason for rumors of departure. However, if there are any personal issues between the two players then they are not affecting their chemistry on the field as the forwards have combined well this season.
Kylian Mbappe has found form again this season even though he struggled initially. While Neymar has been in sensational form this season and has lit up the Ligue 1. The pair is very important to the fortunes of the club and the Manager will hope that the two can continue working well together.
The team looks quite settled at the moment and one will hope that it stays so. If Paris Saint-Germain can continue to perform at this level consistently then they are serious contenders for the European prize this season!!
