Dimitar Berbatov feels that Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho would make him ‘Donny Van De Beek two

United have been interested in signing Sancho for months and this transfer saga revolving around the player has been having its own twist and turns.

However Manchester United reached a dead end in a chase to sign Sancho in the summer as they were not willing to meet the asking price Borussia Dortmund set which was 120 million hence a move for Sancho didn’t materialize.

Have United reignited their interest in Sancho?

According to bvbbuzz Dortmund expect Sancho to leave in the summer.

Dortmund are currently in a financial crisis and they are looking to offload few players in order to generate revenue.

One of the players to leave would be Sancho and the 20-year-old English star has only two years left on his contract therefore the club expect him to leave as there would be suitors ready to sign him in the summer.

United who are currently 2nd in the Premier League were favorites to land the English star and they will be keen on signing him as he would prove to be a menace on the flanks.

However, former United star Dimitar Berbatov feels that signing Sancho wouldn’t be exciting for United as he would struggle to find himself playing regularly in the starting 11 and hence he compared Sancho to Donny Van De Beek as the latter has made only two appearances in the Premier League so far.

“I have read more rumors about Jadon Sancho at Dortmund and how United could sign him,” Berbatov told Betfair.”So, you sign Sancho and where do you play him?”It would be Van de Beek two if they sign him. Yes, he is a great player but then do you just have too much talent?

Therefore it will be interesting to see which club signs Sancho as Berbatov’s words could change United’s mind on signing the English star.
