Meetings between Romelu Lukaku and Thomas Tuchel alongside the Chelsea Hierarchy have been positive. The Differences between the Belgian and the German manager circulated all over the Internet after Romelu Lukaku’s comments during an interview. He was very open about his Unhappiness at Chelsea and his disapproval of the type of tactics and system used by Tuchel.
Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel did not like his comments either, who was the main reason why Lukaku came back to Chelsea. The Blues brought him back to the club after paying a whopping amount of €120 Million from Inter Milan. On the other hand, Romelu Lukaku has always been open about his affection for the Nerazzurri’s.
His performance in Serie A was undoubtedly much better than his performances in the Premier League. The 28-year-old found the back of the net 47 times after making 72 appearances for Inter. He also won the Serie A last season and helped Inter win the Scudetto after almost a Decade.
Thomas Tuchel did not hold himself back and he expressed himself during a Press Conference.
“It’s not the first time something like this has happened in my career. I don’t feel personally attacked or disappointed, but the thing got too big on a Saturday. It was too much noise, for that we protected the preparation we needed from the squad to have quiet, full focus because this is a huge game on a top level.”he also mentioned about the meetings with Lukaku
“There is a meeting on Monday. That’s why we took the decision to delay the decision. We needed some time. I heard of the story on Friday. I thought we could handle it.”

Romelu Lukaku is in line to return to Chelsea’s squad after holding productive talks with Thomas Tuchel after his controversial interview with Sky Italia. Tuchel is reportedly ready to restore Lukaku to his squad when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
The Guardian understands that Marina Granovskaia who is the powerful Chelsea director was involved in helping Lukaku and Tuchel clear the air. Tuchel had the backing of the club’s hierarchy and his squad when he decided to drop Chelsea’s record signing against Liverpool.
Sources close to Lukaku hope that he offers a public apology for his comments. Chelsea fans were also left fuming after Lukaku questioned Tuchel’s system. He also said that he hopes to return to Internazionale one day in an unauthorized interview with Sky Italia last week.
