Micah Richards Talks Highly of Malo Gusto

Chelsea

Micah Richards has been full of praise for one Chelsea player Malo Gusto after their recent home win over Crystal Palace.

Micah Richards Talk

He said on “The Rest is Football” that after seeing Malo Gusto play at Stamford Bridge earlier this week, he thinks the guy has the makings of an exceptional player.Against Palace, Gusto found himself filling in for about half of each full-back position, and he had an equally strong showing on both ends.
Malo Gusto aggressiveness helped create the opening for Mykhailo Mudryk, and he played excellent defence against some formidable wingers. Overall he is a great lad. He is one to look out for in the upcoming years.

When Reece James returned to the treatment table and remained there for a while, there probably were concerns at Stamford Bridge.

Malo Gusto Gem

Richards thinks that Gusto is doing more than enough to take Richards’ position as of right now.

“I’ll tell you who was outstanding, Malo Gusto the full-back,” he said. When he first joined the squad ten games ago, he had an injury. When Reece James returned to the team, he attempted to play both positions and occasionally played on the right. He can attack and defend, though. He is extremely energetic, and he did a great job setting up the first goal and assisting it. I adore him; he’s a modern-day full back with the defensive prowess of an old school player.

“Jordan Ayew would often confront him one-on-one, but instead of charging in, he waited, showed patience, and made the tackle just before the end. He is going to be fantastic, in my opinion. He genuinely has a great future ahead of him.

For Chelsea, Malo Gusto is now a given as they attempt to handle tomorrow’s difficult challenge away at Luton Town.
