Mithun Roy: The new energy from Bengal playing for Blood Mouth FC

East Bengal academy graduate Mithun Roy is now playing for Blood Mouth FC in the Tripura Football League. The young and talented footballer has played for East Bengal Reserves in the Reliance Foundation Development League (RFDL).

Mithun Roy: A Young Talent From Dhupguri:

Mithun Roy, playing for a local club, Dhupguri FC, was selected for East Bengal’s RFDL team in 2023. He was scouted after multiple extensive trails in various parts of North Bengal. Dhupguri FC knows how to groom young players, and Mithun last played there before joining East Bengal.

Mithun Roy joined the East Bengal Reserves:

Bino George, head coach of the East Bengal Reserves, is famous for scouting young talents. Jestin TK and Jijo Joseph are scouted by Bino. Bino also selected Mithun Roy for the Reliance Foundation Development League.

The young defender played a few matches in the RFDL for East Bengal. But he was one of the standout performers in the RFDL Derby.

But he did not get a contract extension after the Reliance Foundation Development League.

Mithun, plays for Blood Mouth FC, becomes the face of his team:

After East Bengal FC, Mithun Roy signed for Blood Mouth FC. He is now playing in the Tripura Football League. He is in good form with his new team.

The versatile footballer can also play as a midfielder. Playing as a midfielder, he is controlling the game for the Tripura Football League side Blood Mouth FC. The way he is controlling the game for Blood Mouth FC is truly adorable.

He played a total of three matches. With his excellent performance, he becomes the main player of his team. This is what happens when young players get enough game time to prove themselves.

Mithun Roy was not a regular starter at East Bengal. But getting gametime in Blood Mouth FC means he is grooming as a player and also gaining experience, which will help him in the upcoming days.
