Mohamed Salah: Sets conditions for transfer to Paris Saint-Germain

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Under contract with Liverpool, Mohamed Salah would not mind a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The Egyptian player has succeeded for the Reds since he arrived from AS Roma. In the 31 games played in the season 2020-2021, Liverpool could count on 19 goals from the Egyptian striker.

To prepare for any eventuality, Leonardo and the high representatives of Paris Saint-Germain would have checked the name of Mohamed Salah. Mohamed Salah would simply be a priority of PSG this summer.

For several weeks now, Doha would see in this operation a great marketing opportunity. The Egyptian striker is one of the strong men of Jürgen Klopp with whom he won a Champions League in 2019.

PSG knows the price to pay for Salah. To eventually sell the Egyptian international, the Reds will demand, not surprisingly, a big price. The leaders of the Mersey team will demand at least €80 million to sell Salah this summer. A credible option that confirms the first rumors about the estimated amount of a similar operation.

The second condition is not on the financial aspect. Mohamed Salah would be likely to leave the Reds especially if his team fails to qualify for the next Champions League. But Liverpool wants to keep its offensive trio composed of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino.

The Liverpool striker was interviewed a few days ago. The Egyptian did not linger on his future.

“If I see myself in another club after four years in Liverpool? It is not me who decides. We’ll see what happens, but I prefer not to talk about it now.” – Mohamed Salah

Although negotiations have already advanced everything would be canceled if Mbappé were to extend his contract. The Paris Saint-Germain striker expires in June 2022. And if Paris wants Mohamed Salah it is largely to replace him.
