Muhammed Nemil returns to India and set to join FC Goa

Muhammed Nemil returns to India after two years in Spain. And he will join the ISL outfit FC Goa in near future . Meanwhile he will join FC Goa’s Pre-season camp next week.

The 19-Year-Old Attacking Midfielder from Kerala. Joined the Reliance Foundation Young Champs Academy when was 13 Year-Old. And Nemil graduated from Reliance Academy in 2019. Meanwhile he was approached by FC Goa youth Academy .

Additionally he was allowed to travel to Spain and Continued his development with Marcet High-Performance academy. After the development program with Marcet Academy. Nemil moved to Barcelona based third division club FE Grama to be part of their under-19 squad. And soon he impressed their management and promoted to senior squad.

“We felt like it was time for Nemil to compete with professional players in the ISL . It was necessary for us to see him here in person. Given how he has progressed in Spain, we want to see what he does in ISL.” – Said Ravi Puskur, Director of Football FC Goa.

After spending Two Years in Spain Muhammed Nemil was called Back to join the FC Goa side in the upcoming edition of ISL.

Why Nemil is Returning to India ?

Even though he was offered by various clubs in Spain to join their Reserves. FC Goa thought instead of keeping him in the third tier of a Spanish League. Nemil could be useful to them to strengthen their squad in ISL.

“Nemil will have a role to play in the team. How big a role remains to be seen, based on coach Juan Ferrando’s plan and system. He is competing with some top-quality players in his position.FC Goa have excellent depth in attack, but Nemil has undeniable potential. He’ll do well.” -Added Ravi Puskur.

Additionally Nemil has a contract till 2024 with FC Goa. So bringing him back to India with some Spainsh Football Experience will help FC Goa to achieve silverware.
