Gokulam Kerala Thrashed NEROCA by 4-1 at Kalyani Stadium in the I-League fixture. Strikes by Adjah and Geroge and Md Sharif’s penalty helped them reach the tally of six points in the I-League.
The Malabarians started their season with one win and two defeats. Their recent win against NEROCA gave them the boost to reach the fourth position of the table.
While NEROCA moved down to the seventh position with four points in three matches in their name.

NEROCA’s head coach Gift Raikhan tried a different formation from the last game and used (4-3-3) instead of (4-4-2) and made two major changes played Ananthem as their left-back in place of W.M.O Singh and swapped Lhungdim as a mid-fielder in place of Horam who played as a winger.
Kerala’s head coach Vincenzo Albert Annese also changed their position from (5-3-2) to (4-3-3) adding George into the team in place of Ralte and Rashid in place lalromawia.
NEROCA FC 1-4 Gokulam Kerala FC MATCH ANALYSIS:
Gokulam Kerala had the spark in them right from the beginning as if they wanted to prove themselves on the pitch. Malabarians made a strong show of their potential by firing some quick goals in the match.
The twenty-third minute opening goal spurred for The Malbarians and in the Thirty first minute, Antwi found Adjah in the box and the Ghanian international smashed the ball into the back of the net from close range to double their lead.
The Malbarians dominated position as well as created many chances and before you could know the score-line was 3-0 after the first half. The second half was not different as the Malbarians were enjoying their 3-0 lead. NEROCA also tried to flap their wings, but their chance were merely a threat for the goalkeeper of Kerala.
In the eighty-sixth minute Sharif’s penalty gave them even a more comfier cushion to rest on. However, soon after NEROCA managed to break through and scored one goal by Songpu.
But despite all of the efforts NEROCA failed to gather any points from the match.

Philip Adjah: The twenty-two years old Ghanian outclassed others, scoring with a bullet in the game.
NEROCA will play against Aizawl FC at Mohun Bagan Ground this Saturday. Gokulam Kerala will face Real Kashmir at Kalyani Stadium on the same day in I-League.
