Neymar according to reports is looking for a move to England. The Brazillian received a bit of transfer advice from Spurs on joining the EPL.
Former Crystal Palace midfielder told Tottenham Hotspurs about targeting Neymar who is looking for a transfer. The winger signed from Barcelona for $232 million remains the most expensive transfer in the history of the sport. Now, according to reports, Tottenham has offered the Brazillian a chance to play in the Premier League.
Premier League interests in Neymar
Chelsea of all the English clubs has been linked to the Brazillian many a times in the transfer market. The Blues have just let go of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan on loan & are looking for a replacement.
Neymar has openly stated that his time in Paris is coming to a close and looks up to a new challenge. This alerted the people in Stamford Bridge to immediately try and sign the Champions League winner. Newcastle has been rumored to offer PSG more money than ever and the player to get skyrocketing wages too.
Neymar’s current situation
The 30-year-old did extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain for a few more years. In contrast to this, there’s always a chance for him to leave before his contract ends. Neymar claims that it is the World Cup year & it isn’t ideal to focus on a transfer during this time.
“I have a contract with PSG, so there are no other possible choices,”

Al-Khelaifi’s take on Neymar
The Qatari says the club saw humiliation in the 2021-22 season which isn’t good for the players. Al-Khelaifi is concerned if such a team environment will end up losing players & Neymar could be one of them.
He insists on doing better for the next year & work hard to compete in the Champions League. The club’s last stint was in the 2019-20 season where they made it to the final but lost to Bayern Munich.

Should Neymar play in England?
The Brazillian has seen enough in Spain and now France. The Premier League is the most competitive league in football & surely would open new doors for him. Chelsea was given £200 million to spend this summer & Tuchel won’t hesitate to spend on Neymar.
Apart from them, Manchester United should push for a winger as Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly said he wants to leave Manchester. Lastly, the Magpies are in the race but can’t compete with these giants but would still give it a try.
It would be a treat for the fans to see if he can do what Phillipe Coutinho is doing in Aston Villa. In conclusion, playing in the Premier League would be a whole new challenge for Neymar considering its quality.
