Deshorn Brown repaid Khalid Jamil’s faith in him. The striker made good on his start following being named in the starting XI after quite a while. He was lethal in front of the goal and aided his side’s comeback to snatch a point from the hands of Mumbai City FC.

His near to perfect performance saw him take home the Hero of the Match award. Brown now has 4 goals in the Indian Super League and is now Northeast’s leading scorer of the season.
