Possible Exit from Chelsea: Another Player Set to Leave

About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

It seems that the next Chelsea player to depart has been found. Thiago Silva will be without a doubt gone, and it seems that another Chelsea player might as well.

Thiago Silva has been really important for Mauricio Pochettino this season, playing 35 games in total. But his contract ends next month, and the Blues didn’t offer him a new one.

The Blues might have a lot of players leaving this summer to make sure they’re following the rules about making money and spending it.

Chelsea and Dortmund Transfer Talks: Armando Broja’s Future

Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund made a deal earlier this year, loaning Ian Maatsen to Dortmund in January. Now, it seems like they might make another deal before the 2024/25 season starts.

The Sun claims, Chelsea as well as Dortmund could do a swap deal for Armando Broja. The source also reported that Broja himself prefers a switch but to his disappointment Dortmund keeps its position that the sum of £50 million which is asked by the management of The ‘Blues’ is just not good value for money.

Broja is currently on loan at Fulham, but he’s not doing very well there. He hasn’t started any games under Marco Silva.

Broja’s Valuation and Future Career

Chelsea think Broja is worth £50 million, and selling him for that much would make him one of their priciest sales ever. But because his loan at Fulham didn’t go well, it’s obvious they won’t get that much money for him.

According to The Sun, Dortmund might be ready to pay about half of that amount. Since Broja came through Chelsea’s academy, getting £25 million for him wouldn’t be too bad for the Blues, especially if he’s not going to play for them next season.

Right now, Mauricio Pochettino has Nicolas Jackson on his team, and Chelsea is still interested in Victor Osimhen from Napoli. So, it seems like Broja’s time at Chelsea might be over.
