Renato Sanches is Open for a Move to Liverpool or Arsenal. The Portuguese Midfielder has been on the radar for several Top European clubs for quite some time now. The former Bayern Munich man still has 2 years left on his current contract with French outfit Lille. The 24-year-old has put Liverpool and Arsenal on red alert after he expressed his decision to take the next step in his career.
The 2016 UEFA Euro Winner will see his deal with the Ligue 1 Champions expire in June 2023. He is constantly on the news with a move away from Stade Pierre Mauroy to the Premier League. Renato Sanches has been a Key figure for Lille since arriving in 2019. He played an important role during Lille’s transformation into a strong team that too in a league that is Monopolized by only one club i.e PSG.
Arsenal and Liverpool are the only two English clubs that are monitoring the situation of Renato Sanches at Lille. The 24-year-old has now added fuel to the fire surrounding his future by hinting that he is ready to accept a new challenge in a different Country. Arsenal reportedly tried to sign Sanches in the summer transfer window. However, the Gunners were unwilling to meet Lille’s €35million (£30million) asking price.

Renato Sanches admitted that he was close to swapping Lille for Barcelona recently. But an injury meant that a deal never materialized. Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan are also one of the clubs that are trying to land the Portuguese into their team.
“When I arrived at Bayern, I was not ready to play in such a club. I was very young. And when I got ready, the opportunity to play with this team never came. Today I feel ready. I understand football better, I have more experience, I know what to do to play in this kind of club and that changes everything. Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested but I don’t know. I spoke with my agent, I know which clubs are calling and which are not, but I can’t tell now. But I know I’m ready. If an offer comes in, I’ll find out what’s best for me.”

Renato Sanches would be a welcome addition at the Emirates but the Gunners may need to act fast if they’re going to fight off competition for his signature. Liverpool is also set to Freshen their attacking ranks by next year and they will also go after Renato Sanches once the Transfer window opens.
Sanches featured 23 times in Lille’s triumphant 2020-21 Ligue 1 season but has only made eight appearances in all competitions so far this term due to injury.
