Sandesh Jhinghan may end his run in ISL and Move to Europe

Sandesh Jhinghan may leave ATK Mohun Bagan as he have a couple of offers from Europe. Additionally, according to several reports, Jhinghan has been contacted by several clubs from Croatia, Austria and Greece. Since the Defender looking keen to move to Europe he may come to an agreement with any of these clubs.

“Jhingan has two definite offers. He wants to give European football a try. Right now, he’s talking to ATK Mohun Bagan to see what’s best for everyone involved.” – Said a Source.

Jhinghan was the vital man for the Mariners in the deep last season. However, having spent several seasons with the Kerala Blasters in the ISL. He had an ACL injury in 2019 during his National duty. And released by the Blasters next season.

Since then rumours around that Jhinghan may move to Europe after his Rehab. But he didn’t receive any interesting offers from Europe. So he decided to join ATK Mohun Bagan and proved his importance several times with the club.

Not only in domestic he also made over 36 Appearances for the Blues Tigers and scored on four occasions. Due to his impressive performance, he Awarded as AIFF Men’s Player of the year again year.

Additionally, he is one the favourites to start in Igor Stimac’s Line-up. The Indian Coach once said Sandesh Jhinghan may become one of the best Defender is Asia.

“Sandesh is twice as better today than two years ago. He is one of the best, defensively speaking, centre-backs in Asia at the moment, but now working hard on his passing. He can become the best one in Asia.” – Said Indian National Team Coach Igor Stimac.

And while the ATK Mohun Bagan side is on the Prep for their AFL Campaign. But Sandesh Jhinghan shows his absence in their training ground.
