West Ham United are preparing to sign Two players from Liverpool. The Hammers are eyeing a move for two Liverpool Centre-Backs Nat Phillips and Ben Davies. The London-based club is all set to launch a bid for the Defensive duo during the January Transfer Window. West Ham United had a fairytale start to the season as they are currently sitting 4th in the Premier League table with 23 points.

West Ham United travelled to the Etihad Stadium last weekend to face the Defending Champions Manchester City. The Visitors had a tough night in the Chilly and Snowy weather in Manchester. Iikay Gundogan scored City’s first goal in the 33rd Minute and Fernandinho’s Goal in the 90th minute sealed the victory for the hosts. However, Manuel Lanzini pulled one goal back for the Hammers during the ending minutes of the regulation time.

Therefore, David Moyes wants to strengthen his team’s defensive ranks during the winter transfer window. West Ham United suffered a major blow earlier this month after Angelo Ogbonna sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The Italian Centre-Back is set to miss the rest of the season due to his injury. This can open the door for the Hammers to bring a New Centre-back, who are currently in Sensational form.

CAN WEST HAM UNITED REGISTER THE SIGNING OF LIVERPOOL’S DEFENSIVE DUO AS THE WINTER TRANSFER WINDOW OPENS IN A MONTH

A lot of clubs in England are preparing to revive their season by signing some new players at the beginning of 2022. The Hammers are expected to bolster their Defense to secure a finish in the Top-four. David Moyes’s side has already progressed to the next round of the UEFA Europa League. West Ham United will hope to maintain their impressive run of form in the Premier League to secure a berth for the UEFA Champions League next season.

According to reports, West Ham United will prioritize a move for Burnley defender James Tarkowski. But the Londoners have identified both Phillips and Davies as alternative targets. Nat Phillips played a vital role at the heart of the defence under Jurgen Klopp for the second half of last season, amid Liverpool’s defensive injury crisis, with the 24-year-old making 20 appearances across all competitions.

However, Phillips has found himself mostly on the bench this season after Virgil Van Dijk’s return from Injury. He has played just 46 minutes in two senior appearances this season. Nat Phillips is now keen on a move away from Anfield to get more game time.

Meanwhile, Ben Davies is currently out on loan with Championship outfit Sheffield United. However, Liverpool could cut his temporary deal short if a permanent transfer away from Merseyside can be agreed upon. The 26-year-old has failed to make a single appearance for the Reds since he arrived from Preston North End in January but has played 13 times for the Blades so far this season.
