18-year-old Bundesliga star transfer to Barcelona is the first priority

Youssoufa Moukoko, a prodigy for Borussia Dortmund 18 year old. He has reportedly made securing a trade to FC Barcelona a top aim, according to the cover of SPORT on December 27.

The young striker, whose deal with the Bundesliga’s powerhouses is coming to an end. It is by a number of teams. Include Chelsea and Manchester United.

Dortmund is also attempting to convince the 18-year-old to stay at Signal Iduna Park after the current season.

The last contract offer made by the Black and Yellows was reportedly rejected by the German international. Suggesting that negotiations between Moukoko and Dortmund did not proceed as planned.

Moukoko, who is scheduled to become a free agent on June 30, will be eligible to negotiate a pre-contract arrangement with overseas teams beginning in January.

Barcelona is said to have been negotiating a deal for Moukoko for some months. The club is once again looking to join the free-agent pool to bolster the ranks due to their financial condition.

So who is this 18-year-old?

Moukoko has become the ideal target for the Blaugrana considering his age, ability, and contractual position. The 18-year-old also appears to be prioritizing a transfer to Spotify Camp Nou, according to the article.

The teenage striker’s demands for a salary of €7 million per year, however, may be difficult to meet given Barça’s Financial Fair Play issues.

Moukoko will also have to decline January offers from Premier League teams in order to wait for Barcelona until the summer since the Catalans would only pursue him if he is available for free.

In 14 Bundesliga games this season, Moukoko has scored six goals and provided four assists. He is one of the most exciting young players in the German top flight at the age of 18. And Barcelona would be wise to sign him since he could serve as Robert Lewandowski’s backup and eventual replacement.
