About Football Express India - Indian Super League - I-League

Alessandro Florenzi will not play with PSG next season. He was loaned to Paris Saint-Germain with an option to buy by AS Roma on September 11, 2020, for €1 million. Initially, Paris Saint-Germain thought to activate the option clause of €9 million.

Since the bad performances, especially against Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain has gradually retracted. In addition, Alessandro Florenzi is involved in the two goals scored by Manchester City in the first leg. His loan period ends on June 30, 2021.

Recently, Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his desire to reorganize the right-back positions for the next season. PSG is talking about a big spring cleaning to give themselves a better chance next season. Coach Mauricio Pochettino might want a player with different characteristics.

Currently, Alessandro Florenzi and Colin Dagba are leading the depth chart. Alessandro Florenzi will certainly not return to the French capital next season and will return to AS Roma.

Alessandro Florenzi leaves Paris Saint-Germain for Roma :

Author of promising beginnings with Paris this season, the Italian has not escaped the criticism of the media. The Italian has played 21 games in Ligue 1 this season. His team could count on 2 goals (Nimes Olympique and against SCO Angers) and an assist from him.

“At PSG I had the experience I wanted, for the future we will see what happens. I want to give the best of myself to this club and then we’ll see “– Alessandro Florenzi

However, some bad performances have demotivated Paris Saint-Germain to integrate him permanently in the team. The end of his loan comes at a very decisive time for Paris Saint-Germain which is in the middle of selecting its team for the next season.

However, the Italian player also talks about a possible departure to Inter Milan, without specifying whether this could be done through a loan or a transfer. Note that recently Florenzi has expressed his desire to avoid a new loan. He prefers to settle permanently in a club now that he is 30 years old.

However, no offer has yet been made official. Pochettino has not yet found a replacement for him. For his part, Alessandro Florenzi obviously prefers to focus on the end of this season before taking the time to think about his future. Alessandro Florenzi will not stay at PSG next season. However, it is now almost certain that the thirty-year-old will return to As Roma, his home club.
