Battle of the speedster with Davies:-

In a recent stream with YouTube fam Ispeed the speedster admitted that Ousmane Dembele of FC barcelona is the toughest player he has ever faced in UCL.

“[Ousmane] Dembélé. The guy is fast. I did my best & held my ground though “

Three times in their careers, Davies and Dembele have faced off against each other. The first occurrence occurred during the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in 2021–2022, when Bayern Munich triumphed 3-0 at home.

In the group stage of the Champions League this year, Barcelona was once again matched up against the legendary Bavarian club. Both games, which Bayern won 2-0 at home and 3-0 away, featured Davies and Dembele.

The Barca winger has a strong track record against the former Vancouver Whitecaps left-back, but it appears that his pace unsettled him. There aren’t many better wingers than the 35-cap France international on his best day.

One of the swiftest players in the game, Dembele can easily dribble past defenders and manufacture goal-scoring opportunities at will. In his final 18 La Liga games of the previous campaign, he registered one goal and contributed 13 assists.

This season, the former Stade Rennais winger has carried that form into 18 league outings, tallying five goals and as many assists.
Due to the fact that his current contract expires in the summer of 2024. Now his future at Spotify Camp Nou is, nevertheless, questionable.

In the meanwhile, Davies is the fastest down the flanks. The 22-year-old is presently Bayern’s starting left-back. He has contributed eight assists and three goals in 31 games this season across all competitions.
