Himanshu Patil scored in the 21st minute to tie the game at one. The teams went into the halftime break tied at 1-1.

The contest was on a knife-edge for the entire second half as both teams sought the victor.

Both ARA FC and Ambernath United Atlanta FC finish Group D with 17 points after securing three points. Because Group B has fewer teams, results against fifth-placed teams in other groups will not be considered for table rankings. FC Goa finishes at the bottom of Group D.

As a result, AUA FC’s four points and ARA FC’s six points against them will not be tallied. So Ambernath United Atlanta FC wins Group D with 13 points, while ARA FC comes in second with 11.

Steven Dias’ team delivered when it counted most in the final stretch of the group rounds. After winning only one of their first four games, they win four in a row to secure qualifying.

AUA FC has now put another feather to their crown after two successful domestic seasons. As their blistering debut season in the Hero I-League 2 continues, they advance to the final round.
