Andre Trindade to Craven Cottage is Set to Happen

Premier

Fulham are set to sign Andre Trindade in January with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola full of praise for the Premier League-bound Fluminense star.

Pep Agrees

Pep Guardiola was in no mood to downplay the magnitude of the job confronting his struggling Manchester City team. Ahead of Friday’s Club World Cup final between the winners of the Champions League and the South American Champions.
One should not undervalue Fluminense, the holders of the Copa Libertadores. Not when there’s a midfielder like Andre Trindade around the middle of the pitch, willing to challenge Rodri for the lead.

This will probably be Andre’s last appearance on La Flu. Fulham and the Brazil international have reportedly “agreed a deal in principle,” according to talkSPORT. Andre is expected to pay around £20 million to relocate to Craven Cottage.

Additionally, Guardiola has given the 22-year-old his OK to travel to England.

“That’s the school from Brazil. (Fluminense) have excellent ball-handling skills. They frequently get together. Additionally, they have talented players like Andre,” Guardiola says to UOL.

Andre Trindade to Fulham

According to reports, West Ham, Arsenal, and Manchester United are also considering Andre. According to Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt, Liverpool initiated discussions with Andre throughout the summer, but he decided to stay here and support his present team in winning the Copa Libertadores.

Now that he has things taken care of, Andre has nothing standing in his way of completing his “dream” relocation to the English coast.

Andre tells Premier League Brasil, “I watch the Premier League and it’s a big dream to play there one day,” following Fluminense’s 2-0 Club World Cup victory over Al-Ahly of Egypt.

“My goal is to win the Club World Cup and to finish the season at Fluminense,” the player said. However, I have one clear dream: to play in the Premier League.

Andre may take Joao Palhinha’s place if Bayern Munich decides to rekindle their interest. Quinten Timber of Feyenoord and Adrien Tameze, a Serie A enforcer, are allegedly top targets for Fulham.
