A winless run for ATK Mohun Bagan continued as they had to settle for another stalemate at Chennaiyin FC. The two teams locked horns in a fierce contest which ended 1-1 at the Fatorda Stadium.
Coming out of the blocks strongly, the Mariners took the lead within 20 minutes. It was Liston Colaco who blasted the ball in a 1v1 to put his side ahead.
The Marina Machans replied with a magnificent equalizer. Just before the break, Vladimir Koman powered a low drive through a crowded ATKMB box to draw level.
ATK Mohun Bagan are now without a win in three matches. Meanwhile, Chennaiyin FC add to their unbeaten run, extending to 4 games at present.

Anirudh Thapa was fittingly awarded Hero of the Match. Sporting the armband, he displayed a true captain’s performance and led from the front. He was deployed further up the field and had no problems showing his class.
