The Atletico Madrid are willing to offer the player a three-year contract worth €3 million per season. Thereby keeping him until the summer of 2026.

The Colombian international plays for Porto and has been a frequent starter for the Portuguese club this season. He has started 24 of the 25 games in which he has played and has scored three goals.
His attacking output is scarcely great, with 0.7 critical passes per game and two huge opportunities generated so far. However It is vital to note that the 32-year-old defensive midfielder averages over 11 defensive actions each game for his team.
Uribe’s deal with Porto expires in the summer.The athlete has the option of signing a pre-contract with any club of his choosing. Flamengo has shown interest in signing the player and even considered the favourites until Diego Simeone’s team Atletico Madrid entered the picture in the last few hours.

According to the Portuguese news portal O Jogo (via Sport Witness), Fulham have had ‘initial discussions’ with the 32-year-old’s representatives. The South American star has 45 international caps for his native Colombia. He may provide both solidarity and experience to Silva’s midfield. Uribe has a remarkable career, having won 15 trophies while playing for Porto, Club America in Mexico, and Atlético Nacional. Uribe appears to be capable of bringing a winning mindset to west London, and his performances for Porto have been crucial. According to the outlet, Uribe has been waiting for the right move as he considers life after the Primeira Liga.

His agents have two prospective destinations in mind: Fulham and Atletico Madrid, both of which are reportedly “top of his preferences.”
