Barcelona and their massive spending this summer

Julian Araujo

Julian Nagelsmann took a dig at FC Barcelona last week. The German Coach was critical of the way Barcelona have been spending money this summer. Nagelsmann and Joan Laporta have been involved in a world war for the past few days. As per Reports, Nagelsmann has still not digested the fact that Barcelona got money to sign Robert Lewandowski. No.9 had made it clear that he wanted the Barcelona move only.

Speaking of Barcelona, Nagelsmann said:

” It’s surprising to be honest when you think how are they managing to make so many signings in the market. I don’t understand where they are getting the money for all this.”

Nagelsmann was not shy in admitting that he could not believe how Barcelona were pulling so many operations in the market.

President Laporta was not holding back his own and did all he had to defend his club. The Spaniard said,

“I would ask them to focus on their own business. They received what they wanted for Lewa. I respect everyone and don’t prefer to interfere in the economy of others. I give them the benefit of doubt. They thought we couldn’t but they didn’t know our strength.”

Laporta and his sporting director Alemany have been pulling off moves in the market for the Blaugranas.

Was This A dream transfer Window For Barcelona?

Barcelona has had one of the busiest transfer windows of all time. The club has had departures and arrivals going on simultaneously. Laporta has delivered what Xavi had asked for. Robert Lewandowski will be Barcelona’s classic No.9 . Jules Kounde has been Xavi’s priority in Defense for a long time and has now arrived. Raphinha and Dembele on the right wing can wreak havoc.

It is fair to say Xavi has the pressure to deliver with this team. He has a world-class squad at his disposal with almost all positions well covered. Kessie and Christensen also provide some much-needed quality depth for the Catalans that they have not had for a long time. If Coach Xavi can get this team running, then there will be very few who would like to face this Barcelona side.
