Barcelona could re-sign the Aubameyang on a season-long loan.

In recent weeks, rumours have circulated that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will make a sensational return to Barcelona just a year after leaving for Chelsea.

Aubameyang is keen on returning to Catalonia

The 33-year-old joined Barça in January of last year. He stayed for six months before leaving for Chelsea in a €12 million deal. However, things have not gone well for him at Stamford Bridge. He has fallen out of favour with manager Graham Potter.

According to SPORT, Chelsea may be unwilling to let Aubameyang leave for free even though they do not expect him to play next season. It is possible that Barcelona will look into a season-long loan for the Gabonese striker.
The 33-year-old was spotted in Barcelona earlier this month celebrating barca’s El Clasico victory with his former teammates. It was said to have enraged Chelsea, who were considering terminating his contract.

However, according to SPORT, while Chelsea appeared happy to let him leave for nothing in January. But, they are now unwilling to give away an asset for nothing in return. As a result, a loan move may become an option for Barça.
