A total of 14 goals in more than 70 matches are not enough for gaining interest. Torres is now ranked after Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Ousmane Dembele in the pecking order. However there are rumours that manager Xavi expects him to make a come back next season. According to the source, Barcelona expects to get roughly €40 million for the transfer of the former Manchester City and Valencia striker.
However Torres is unwilling to leave Barça and succeed. During the winter transfer window, the Catalans got an offer of roughly €60 million from Newcastle United for him. But he refused to leave and his attitude remains unchanged. The Blaugrana, on the other hand, are determined to get him off the books.
